Loved this book. Just like really nice vibes in the book and the way she writes about the natural world is awesome. Sometimes felt a little slow/draggy onny, but that also is one of the nice things about it. She gets you to really focus on the details that she describes. That is mostly what I remember about the book–the way she describes the garden and the fish that the sailors eat, etc. Not exactly sure what my main takeaway is–I think I mostly just enjoyed the writing style. I’m not a crazy Greek Mythology person so I didn’t really think I would be into either this book or The Song of Achilles but both were so nice to read. Read this after The Song of Achilles because I loved it so much. Doubt that I ever would have read this otherwise.
